🌷 Spring has sprung in Marmora and Lake… or has it? 🤔

With the anticipated arrival of warmer weather comes the annual mix of potholes, mud and puddles on our roads! 🛣️ The Marmora and Lake Roads Crew is out daily, working to address these issues and improve road conditions as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience as we tackle challenges caused by the beginning of the spring thaw. Please use caution around roadwork areas to help keep everyone safe.

While we’re all looking forward to seeing fewer plows on the roads, we can’t make any promises yet! ❄️

Spring maintenance work includes:

  • Pothole Patching

  • Grading Gravel Roads

  • Drainage Maintenance

  • Shoulder Repair

  • Street Sweeping/Sidewalk Sweeping

  • Catch Basin Cleaning

  • Fleet Maintenance

  • Garbage Clean-Up

  • Bridge Washing

This time of year requires a little extra patience from everyone. Yes - we are aware of the potholes!
