🚧 Roads Update 🚧

The Marmora and Lake Roads Department is working diligently to clear fallen trees, branches and debris left behind by the recent ice storm. Crews are actively going over all the roads in the municipality, but please be aware that this process will take time as most roads have some level of debris.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this cleanup effort. If you must travel, please do so cautiously, as conditions may still be hazardous in some areas.

”We have managed to get the majority of roads opened enough for vehicle access, at the moment,” said Manager of Transportation Services, Dylan Adams. “This week’s focus will be using our equipment to cut, break or pull down the remainder of trees while working around Hydro/ Bell. The brush will be placed into piles along the road and we will pickup and remove when the roads dry up”.
