Mayor's Report for March 4, 2025

February 18th

I attended Hastings County Finance, Property and Personnel Committee Meeting.

At 1:00 p.m., I attended a meeting for the South East Health Unit in Belleville in preparation for the regular SEHU Board Meeting.

At 6:30 p.m., I presided over our regular meeting of Marmora and Lake Council

February 19th

I presided over the SEHU Finance Committee Meeting for the purpose of electing a Chair.  Anne Marie Koiner was elected Chair and she assumed the chair position.

February 25th

I met with Dr. Piotr Oglaza to prepare for the SEHU Board Meeting in Kingston.

February 26th

I presided over the SEHU Board Meeting in Brockville.

February 27th

I attended the regular meeting of Hastings County Council.

March 1st

It was the Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Marmora Pentecostal Church and Free Methodist Church with proceeds to the two local elementary schools.  I understand the breakfast was a great success.  I planned to attend but came down with the flu on Friday.  But, thank you to all who volunteered and organized the event and to all who were able to attend.  This was a great community event and we are pleased that Marmora and Lake could be a partner by waiving the fees for use of the Community Centre facility.
