Check out the Fire Department's new Fire Skid, thanks to GlobalMedic!

The Marmora and Lake Fire Department is now the proud owner of a new Fire Skid, thanks to a generous donation from GlobalMedic!

This skid will help our Fire and Emergency Services team be better equipped to take on wildland fires, enabling them to respond more quickly and safely when it matters most, improving overall preparedness in our community.

The new fire skid:

  • Arrived in time for wildfire season

  • Is a rural, mobile, 1000 litre, self-contained firefighting unit

  • Will help to support our wildland and wildland urban interface fire suppression tactics
