2026 Municipal Election Website Live

Did you know that a municipal election will be taking place on October 26, 2026? That’s just over 8 months away! Those eligible will have the opportunity to vote and/or run for a spot on Council!

This page includes information for voters and potential candidates, along with valuable resources and archived information from the 2022 and 2018 elections. It will be updated throughout the year as other information and resources become available.

Many of the resources you will currently find are provided by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO), including links to free workshops that they are hosting for returning and potential members of Council. If you’re considering throwing your hat in the ring this year, head over now to check it out!
