Marmora Medical Centre mural revitalization complete!

If you visited the Marmora Medical Centre at all in December, you already know that the mural in the reception area was experiencing some updates. The revitalization work is now complete and the Municipality would like to recognize the contributions of local artist, Gloria Hope!

The mural was initially completed by artists Kylo, Getaylor and Holand, in 2009, as a tribute to the years of dedicated service of doctors and nurse practitioners in the village of Marmora. (You can see the “before” photo below on the left.) Since that time, many practitioners have come and gone, and it was time for an update to recognize the individuals not included in the original artwork. Gloria did a wonderful job paying homage to the original piece, while also adding her own artistic flair and vibrance - as you will see below in the “after” photo on the right.
