Get your 2026 dog tags now!

It’s officially time to get your 2026 dog tags!

All dogs in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake must be licensed annually. To avoid fines, dog owners are encouraged to come into the Municipal Office NOW to purchase their tags, which are $25 each. As per Bylaw 2023-30, tags purchased after March 31st go up to $40, which includes a late fee.

Marmora and Lake Animal Control officers may be visiting your residence if they see evidence of a dog living there. They will soon be selling 2026 dog tags door-to-door.

Tags are also available for purchase at the Municipal Office from Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. All dog owners are responsible for purchasing tags for their dogs, whether or not Animal Control Officers stop at your home. Owners of untagged dogs are eligible to be fined, as per the Dog Licensing Bylaw.
