Burn Permits Required As Of April 1st

As of today, April 1st, burn permits are required for open-air fires and burn barrel/incinerators. The time for burning with a permit is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You do not need a burn permit for small contained fires that are for food or warmth.

*Burn permits are not available within the boundaries of the villages of Deloro and Marmora, as open-air burning and burn barrels are prohibited within the vilages.

Complete the online form to get your permit. It is available on the homepage of the municipal website, in the Quick Links list. You can also find it here.

Due to the recent ice storm, please use extreme caution when burning as there is much more brush on the ground than usual for this time of year.
