Public Notice: 2026 Council Meeting Schedule

Please be advised that the Council meeting schedule for 2026 has been added to the municipal website. You can find the calendar with the schedule of meetings here: https://marmoraandlake.civicweb.net/Portal/

Beginning in January, all regular meetings of Council will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Procedural Bylaw (No. 2025-68) was updated earlier this week at the December 16, 2025, meeting of Council to include the following:

Planning, Committee of Adjustment (as needed) and/or Regular Council Meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the order established here, or as decided by Council, with sufficient notice to be given by the Clerk.

What does this mean? When there are planning matters to discuss, the Planning meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., adjourn and move right into Committee of Adjustment as it does now, as needed, and then move right into Regular Session upon adjournment of Planning/Committee of Adjustment. When there are no planning matters requiring Council consideration, Planning meetings will be cancelled as they are now, and Regular Session will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. These cancellations are always reflected on the online Council Meeting schedule at the link above.
