Boil Water Advisory Lifted

Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health has lifted the boil water advisory for the Marmora and Lake Municipal Water System. 

On June 30th, 2024, a boil water advisory was issued for the Marmora and Lake Water Treatment Plant for the west side of the Crowe River due to a water main break.    

Please be advised regarding the above noted boil water advisory that all necessary corrective actions have been taken and the drinking water supply has been verified potable. As such, the boil water advisory is now lifted, and normal use of the drinking water supply can be resumed. 

The Marmora and Lake Environmental Services staff are continuing to monitor the situation and ask that town-wide water conservation efforts remain in effect until further notice.
