Vandalism of Municipal Property

Municipal Staff worked hard to get the Marmora Beach up and running for the season. This is an area of our municipality that we take pride in, that locals and visitors alike enjoy immensely. However, the expectation is that the public treat it with respect. Recent vandalism to the Beach House Washrooms, along with theft and destruction of decoys meant to scare away geese from the beach, is unacceptable. If this behaviour continues, staff will have no choice but to close the building and the beach.
