Burn Ban Lifted in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake

Please be advised that the Ministry of Natural Resources lifted the provincial Restricted Fire Zone, effective 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

The Marmora and Lake Fire Department has lifted the municipal Restricted Fire Ban, effective 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. There is now no fire ban in place in Marmora and Lake.

Burn permits are required for all open-air and burn barrel/incinerator fires, and can be submitted here.
