Office Closure in Observance of Remembrance Day

Please be advised that the Municipal Office will be closed for Remembrance Day, on Monday, November 11th, 2024.

Across generations, men and women of all backgrounds have fought and died to make this world a safer place. They have defended and promoted Canadian values of freedom, democracy and human rights. We are stronger because of their service and safer because of their courage and sacrifice.

The Royal Canadian Legion is hosting the National Remembrance Day Ceremony in Ottawa, and will stream the service through Facebook Live.

Attend the Local Ceremony:

The Marmora Legion, Branch 237, will be marching from the Legion to the cenotaph in Memorial Park for a service at 11:00 a.m. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
