Flood Warning Update for Residents of Marmora and Lake
A Flood warning is still in effect for the municipality. The warning was issued by the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority yesterday and can be viewed here.
Water levels on Crowe Lake, Crowe River and Beaver Creek rose overnight. Measurements taken just below the dam on Crowe River indicate waters in that area have risen approximately four inches.
Water flow and water levels are expected to keep increasing, especially with rainfall continuing today and throughout tonight, as rapid snowmelt and precipitation infiltrate the watershed.
If you are in need of sandbags, sand or assistance from the fire department, please contact Fire Chief Tony Brownson at 613-472-2748 or 613-921-6117.
