Cathie Jones in Memoriam

It is with great sadness that the Municipality of Marmora and Lake has learned of the passing of Cathie Jones on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Cathie was an integral member of the community serving from 1998-2003 and 2007-2009 on the municipal council, plus decades of service as curator and director of the Marmora Historical Foundation. The community will feel her loss.

As per Cathie’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery.
