Council meeting times changing

Council meeting times are changing from afternoons to evenings beginning at the next scheduled meeting, February 19, 2019.

Council passed a motion on February 5 to switch the meeting time from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in an effort to better accommodate members of the public who wish to attend. Meetings will go no later than 10 p.m.

The planning meetings, held the first Tuesday of each month, will also change from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Council’s meeting schedule - the first and third Tuesday of each month - will remain the same.

This decision will be reviewed within six months to see if the time change improves overall public attendance.
