Garbage Pick-Up

• Rural pick-up on Mondays

• Urban pick-up on Fridays

Recycling Pick-Up

• Industrial, Commercial & Institutional Properties

  • Thursdays

  • Have materials to the curb by 6:00 a.m., with containers/glass/plastic in a clear bag and fibers bundled or in a blue box

• Residential Properties

  • Pick-up takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, depending on location

  • Check the Circular Materials Collection Map to see which day applies to you, or consult the maps below

Bag Tags

Garbage Bag Tag Program

Cost: $3.50

Self-generated Bag Tag revenue covers the cost of roadside collection ensuring that this service has no tax levy impact.

• Marmora Valu-Mart – 42 Matthew St

Note: You must have a tag on your garbage to take it to the landfill site or it is $5 a bag.

Landfill Hours:

• OPEN: Saturdays and Mondays, year-round.

• April 1st to November 1st: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

• November 1st to April 1st: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Extra Summer Day, open between Victoria Day Weekend and Labour Day Weekend:
  Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

CASH or CHEQUE accepted at the waste site. No interac available.

Gates close 10 minutes before closing, daily, to give on-site customers time to finish up and to allow staff time to put the final cover on for the day.
