🚧☀️Summer Update from the Roads Department👷🏼🚧

☀️ Summertime is in full swing, and the Marmora and Lake Roads Crew has been hard at work with a variety of important jobs across the Municipality!

Here’s what’s been happening lately:

🔸Grading - Taking place on multiple municipal roads. Grading is essential to keeping our roads safe and smooth. This work will continue over the coming weeks.

🔸Gravel Work - Taking place on municipal roads as part of our ongoing gravel resurfacing program. Work is currently underway on Crofts Road, with North Marmora Road already completed and Butter Milk Lane next in line.

🔸Liquid Calcium Application - Applied to most municipal roads, with only a few remaining in Lake Township. This helps to control dust and improve road stability.

🔸Brushing - Ongoing throughout the summer and into the fall to maintain clear sightlines and road safety.

🔸Patching - Continues across the municipality to repair any potholes.

🔸Road Trash Pickup - Please help us out by not littering and keeping our roadsides clean.

🔸Sign Maintenance - An important part of ensuring driver safety and providing clear direction throughout the Municipality.

The Roads Crew want to sincerely thank residents for their continued support and patience. We understand that summer construction can be inconvenient, but it’s necessary to keep Marmora and Lake a safe and beautiful place to live and visit.
