🚦Traffic Light Update🚦
Please be advised that the control cabinet of the traffic lights at the intersection of Highway 7 and Forsyth Street require replacement before the lights can return to normal operation. A new cabinet has been ordered. Unfortunately, the timeline for delivery and installation is two (2) to four (4) weeks.
In the meantime, staff are diligently exploring short-term solutions to help manage traffic flow safely. We are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
We kindly ask all drivers and pedestrians to exercise extra caution and patience when traveling through the area. We understand the inconvenience this is causing and truly appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep drivers and pedestrians alike safe.
Due to the control failure, it is not possible to change the lights from their current configuration to a four-way stop. As such, the following remains in effect:
⚠️ East and westbound traffic see a yellow flashing light, which means to slow down and proceed with caution.
🛑 North and southbound traffic see a red flashing light, which should be treated like a stop sign.
Announcements will be made as further information becomes available. Thank you for your continued support. 👷🏼♀️👷🏼♂️
