If you live in a Central Hastings community and you don’t have a car or a drivers’  license, your options are severely limited. Opportunities to improve your life through new employment, skills development or education, are as close as the next village, or more probably, in Belleville. But not if you can’t get there! To help overcome this obstacle, CHSN has established Central Hastings Transit.

Central Hastings Transit was created  to provide people with affordable transit between Madoc Township, Marmora & Lake, Madoc Village, Tweed, Stirling / Rawdon and Belleville. In July of 2014, we purchased a new 17 seat bus with a lift and seating for 2 handicapped passengers. A second 17 seater bus again with 2 wheelchair spaces was added to the fleet in November 2016.
