At that meeting it was proposed that a number of satellite offices be closed due to such considerations as being underutilized, etc. The Board requested staff bring back more information. Programs and services would not be affected but just provided differently. No jobs will be lost but some duties are reassigned.

At 1 :30, I attended the BISB Meeting in Stirling.
At 4:30, I attended the update on the cleanup project of the Deloro site. Next year, cleanup will commence on Young's Creek, south of Highway 7 to the Old Marmara Road.
November 28th
I chaired a special Closed Meeting of Council.
November 29th
I attended the Christmas lighting ceremony at Memorial Park.
Thank you to the Lion's Club for their continued hard work and support for the Municipality. The Park looks magical. In spite of the vandalism, they were able to replace the damaged lights and continue with the program including providing hot chocolate to the crowd.
December 2nd
I attended an SEHU "all staff day" in Kingston. There were approximately 400 staff present from the three legacy boards, now SEHU. Dr. Kieran Moore was the guest speaker. I spoke as Chair along with Dr. Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health. Dr. Oglaza and his team have co-ordinated services and programs to ensure that health services are particularly effective in the rural areas.
Tonight is our regular meeting of Marmora and Lake Council
