Election 2026: Voting Q&A

Do you have questions about voting in the upcoming Municipal Election? We have answers!

  • Your Voter Information Letter (VIL) will be mailed to you the first week of October. This letter contains the pin that you will need to access the voting portal (via internet or telephone).

  • The voting period starts at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, and ends at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26.

  • A Voter Help Centre will be located at Town Hall (downstairs) during regular business hours throughout the voting period for anyone who needs help with internet voting. Staff will be ready to assist in whatever way you need to make sure you get to cast your ballot.

  • In-person voting will be available in Council Chambers (at Town Hall, 12 Bursthall Street, Marmora) on Voting Day - October 26. You will have the opportunity to cast your vote over the internet until voting closes at 8:00 p.m.
