Election 2026: Last Week for Candidate Nominations

Are you still thinking about running for Marmora and Lake Municipal Council? There’s only a week left to make sure your name is on the ballot.

Candidate nominations close next Friday, August 21, at 2 p.m.

Remember, you need to give yourself enough time to do two things:

1) Get at least 25 endorsement signatures from eligible voters in Marmora and Lake; and,

2) Make an in-person appointment with the Clerk to submit the required paperwork (Forms 1 and 2).
