Crowe Valley Conservation: Flood Watch Update
The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority has issued the following FLOOD WATCH effective immediately, 3PM, 02 APRIL 2026, and will be updated 16 April 2026, or as conditions warrant.
FLOOD WATCH
Due to the changing weather patterns, there is a potential for heavy rainfall in the coming days in Crowe Valley Conservation Authority watershed.
Water levels and flows may rise at a rate which can cause nuisance flooding.
Water can collect quickly in the tributaries of the Crowe River, Beaver Creek and the North River. Therefore, a FLOOD WATCH has been issued, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
Increased flows and water levels on lakes, rivers and tributaries are hazardous. Parents need to inform their children of these conditions.
Crowe Valley Conservation Authority urges everyone to stay away from all dams, weirs, hydro generating plants.
Crowe Valley Conservation Authority includes portions of the municipalities of Trent Hills, Stirling-Rawdon, Marmora and Lake, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, North Kawartha, Wollaston, Limerick, Tudor and Cashel, Faraday and Highlands East.
