Happy Earth Day, Marmora and Lake!

While we like to treat every day as Earth Day, we know that our roads and ditches accumulate a lot of unwanted items over the winter months. Now that the snow is finally gone, you can see the mess left behind.

Our annual Trash Bash begins in just two days and it’s not too late to sign up! Get a group of friends or family together and let’s all do our part to clean up our neighbourhoods, public parks, waterways, and roadways.

This year’s Trash Bash is taking place this weekend, from April 24-26, 2026. Kits are being provided by the Municipality (including gloves and garbage bags), and you can register online so we know where to pick up your bags once they’re full! You still have three days to pick up kits at Town Hall or the library.
