Marmora's Trash Bash Weekend - April 24-26, 2026
It’s spring, and Earth Day is just around the corner. The Municipality of Marmora and Lake is hosting its annual Trash Bash on April 24-26, 2026!
Our community belongs to all of us! Let’s keep our neighbourhoods, public parks, waterways, and roadways clean and safe for everyone, and work together to pick up trash and recycling and properly dispose of it at the municipal landfill and recycling station.
Want to participate? Follow these 4 easy steps:
Step 1: Register by clicking the link below and choose an area where you would like to pick up litter. Registering helps identify the areas that have been cleaned and how many people are participating in the event
Step 2: Pick up your Trash Bash kit (bags and gloves) and information sheet.
Step 3: Pick up litter from roadsides, green and common spaces, sidewalks, and trails from April 24-26.
Step 4: See information sheet included with your Trash Bash kit for collected garbage drop-off and pick-up options.
Where do I get my Trash Bash kit?
Marmora and Lake is providing a Trash Bash kit for people who are signed up to participate. You will be able to pick it up at the following locations, beginning in early April:
Town Hall, 12 Bursthall Street
Marmora Public Library, 37 Forsyth Street
