Public Notice: Alto High-Speed Train Public Engagement Update
At the March 17, 2026, meeting of Council, members of the public expressed concerns about the Alto high-speed train project through Public Input and Correspondence For Direction. In response, Council made a number of motions in an effort to bring as much related information forward for Council and the public as possible.
Council wants you to know that you still have time and opportunities to share your concerns about this project directly with Alto. The public consultation period has been extended to April 24th. In the meantime, you can take advantage of the following options, and are encouraged to do so by your local elected representatives, if you haven’t already:
Open House: March 25th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. @ the Stirling and District Lions Club, 435 W Front St, Stirling
