Election 2026: Have you Voted Yet?
We are officially 24 hours into the voting period for the 2026 Marmora and Lake Municipal and School Board Election.
As of 10 a.m. today, 6.9% of registered eligible electors have voted.
Internet and telephone voting are both open until October 26 at 8 p.m., so there's still lots of time to cast your ballot.
Need help? Our Voter Help Centre in the Municipal Office (12 Bursthall Street) is open this week from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Staff are here to help by:
Adding electors to the Voters' List
Printing Voter Information Letters for internet and telephone voting
Answering questions about the voting processAssisting those who may not have access to a phone/internet, or are feeling uncertain about the voting process
The Voter Help Centre is intended for those who require help with the voting process. If you are able, please vote from home this week. Space is limited in the Municipal Office, and staff can only help one voter at a time.
If you would like to vote at Town Hall, you may do so on Voting Day, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In-person voting will make use of the internet voting system.
