Mag's Landing Boat Launch Closed as of September 11, 2025

Please be advised that the Mag’s Landing Boat Launch will be CLOSED FOR THE SEASON as of 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, September 11th.

Despite recent repairs and on-going maintenance to the boat launch, the metal plates continue to disconnect from the grates after each weekend of public use, and these grates have continued to deteriorate. This reality has been created and compounded by the extremely low water level, making it nearly impossible for large vessels to be launched safely, without damaging the grating and/or personal trailers and property. As such, the launch must be closed earlier than hoped for/expected.

This decision has not been made lightly, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. The public is encouraged to use the boat launch at Booster Park for the remainder of the season, which is free for residents of Marmora and Lake.
