Marmora and Lake Celebrates Victor Reid and Tony Brownson!
Last night, at its Regular meeting, the Council of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake marked the special occasion of the pending retirement of two of its most senior management team members – Victor Reid and Tony Brownson. Between them, they’ve contributed to the Municipality of Marmora and Lake for almost 4 decades. Victor started with the Municipality in 2005 and retires at the end of this month as the Manager of Environmental Services. Tony started with the Municipality in 2007 and also retires at the end of this month as the Fire Chief & Community Emergency Management Coordinator.
To quote Mayor O’Neill, “Their contributions will not be forgotten. Victor and Tony have been more than just employees, they have also been leaders. Whether it was through difficult decisions or every day moments of commitment, they have shown what it truly means to serve with pride and purpose. Their work will have a lasting mark, not just on the departments they served, but on the people they worked with and the lives they’ve touched across the community. Victor and Tony, we thank you for your dedication, your loyalty and your many years of hard work.”
Council and staff take this moment to acknowledge their contributions and mark this milestone in both their careers and this community. Thank you, Victor and Tony! Congratulations!
Details of future changes will follow.
