Public Skating & Shinny Schedule Changes

Thank you to everyone who came out for public skating over the weekend! Council and staff were so excited to see you and welcome you back to the arena. A big thank-you to the Marmora Crowe Valley Lions Club for their collaboration and generosity, too!

We are headed into hockey tournament season, so there are going to be some changes to the public skating and shinny schedules now and then. We will make announcements the week-of, so check back here when you are making weekend plans, or the recreation page on the municipal website: https://marmoraandlake.ca/recreation.

Upcoming changes to note:

  • THIS Sunday, November 2nd - Adult Shinny is cancelled, and Public Skating is taking place from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. (rather than 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.)

  • Friday, December 5th - Senior and Parents & Tots Skating are cancelled, and Youth Shinny is rescheduled to Wednesday, December 3rd from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, December 7th - Adult Shinny and Public Skating are cancelled
