Burn Ban Lifted in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake

Please be advised that the Marmora and Lake Fire Department has lifted the municipal Restricted Fire Ban, effective 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025. There is now no fire ban in place in Marmora and Lake.

Burn permits are not required after September 30th, but residents and guests alike must be compliant with all municipal bylaws at all times.

Please burn responsibly and keep in mind that this has been an unusually dry season!
