Public Notice: Impact of Postal Strike on Municipal Services
In light of the Canada Post strike, please avoid putting any payments or time-sensitive documents in the mail for the time being.
The Municipality offers the following alternative payment options for property taxes, utility bills, and more:
ONLINE/TELEPHONE/MOBILE BANKING
You can add the municipality as a payee through your financial institution. Search the payee list for “Marmora and Lake.”Water and Sewer (Utility) Payments: Select “UTILITIES” as the payee. The account number is the 10-digit customer number on your invoice/statement.
Tax Payments: Select “TAXES” as the payee. The account number is the 19-digit property roll number, located on your tax bill/statement.
PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS
Automatic withdrawal from a bank account is available. Pre-authorized payment forms are available on the municipal website: https://marmoraandlake.ca/payment-options.IN-PERSON
Payments can be made at the Municipal Office (12 Bursthall Street) Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The following in-person payment methods are available:Cash

Cheques and other paperwork can be placed in the drop box located to the right of the front door of the Municipal Office (12 Bursthall Street) any time. The box is checked by staff daily.E-COMMERCE
Marmora and Lake also offers e-commerce payments through the municipal website. Use your debit or credit card to make an ePayment. Note that a service fee is charged for using this method.
E-BILLING: Now is a great time to sign up for e-billing, so you never have to worry about when your bills will arrive in the mail. To sign up, visit the municipal website: https://marmoraandlake.ca/ebilling.
