Day of Action on Litter - May 9, 2023

Marmora and Lake is participating in Ontario’s 4th annual Day of Action on Litter on May 9th, 2023! Council Members and Municipal Staff will be out on the afternoon of the 9th helping to clean up litter in the village of Marmora.

As such, the municipal office will be closed from 1-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9th.

For those groups, schools, and individuals who have already pitched in this spring, and taken the time to clean up trash in the area, THANK YOU!

For those who have not, please consider taking action on Tuesday, May 9 (or the weekend before/after) to help clear our ditches and parks of litter.

Garbage bags are available at Town Hall (12 Bursthall St.). If you let the municipal office know where you are collecting litter, they will come around to remove the bags that you leave behind.
