Marmora and Lake Animal Control officers - Calvin and Ian Stein - may be visiting your residence if they see evidence of a dog living there. They are currently selling 2023 dog tags door-to-door.

All dogs in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake must be licensed. This includes microchipped dogs. Tags are $25 each, and all dog owners are responsible for purchasing current tags for their pets, whether or not they receive a home visit from Animal Control.

Tags are also available for purchase at the municipal office from Mondays-Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tags purchased after May 31st are $40, which includes a late fee. Owners of untagged dogs are eligible to be fined, as per the Dog Licensing and Kennel Bylaw.
