Public Notice: Major Winter Storm

Attention all Marmora and Lake residents: Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning now in effect for Marmora and Lake, and neighbouring municipalities.  All residents should be prepared for dangerous weather conditions, treacherous road conditions, damaging winds, and possible utilities outages from Thursday night through the weekend.  Avoid unnecessary travel wherever possible. 

With significant snow, rain, and ice expected, it is important to remember to drive safely and to respect snowplows.  Be patient, keep your distance behind the plow, and do not pass a working snowplow.  Thank you.
