The Marmora Train Station Has Been Declared Surplus - Bids Are Open!
The Municipality of Marmora & Lake has declared the Train Station building as surplus and offers it for sale to individuals or groups in a position to remove the building for alternative purposes leaving the land in a clean, level state with the foundation removed.

AND that staff apply for demolition costs through the Municipal Modernization Program in the case that the building is not successfully sold.

The purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with the removal and proof of insurance must be provided, purchaser is responsible for all costs, permits, liabilities, and damages, not the Municipality.
The building is sold as-is.
The building must be removed and site leveled within 60 days of purchase unless other arrangements are approved by the Municipality. This building was built in 1884, this Train Station stood for nearly 100 years on the line of the Central Ontario Railway at a spot two miles east of the Town of Marmora.
The Station was named Wolf Station. After the line was abandoned the Station was moved to its new location within the town of Marmora.
The building has been maintained and a cedar shake roof was installed at the time it was relocated, there are presently water, sewer, and electrical hooked up to the building, and the purchaser is responsible for disconnections of utilities to the building.
There are 2 washrooms installed in the building.

Deck - 12' X 46'
The building could be moved or dismantled for salvage this is solely up to the purchaser.
