Quinte Waste Solutions - Bag Limit - Media Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Starting on Monday, October 18, 2021, there will be a bag limit of 10 (ten) bags per business that are setting out material for collection. This affects all businesses served within the Quinte Waste Solutions service areas.

The change will minimize traffic disruptions associated with collecting large stockpiles of street-side material and will improve the safety of workers collecting the material.

Recycling Collection Drivers will pick up 10 bags of recycling per week at the curbside of businesses. The recycling bags must be properly sorted with one type of material per bag.

If businesses have additional recycling beyond the 10-bag limit, they can take the excess material to a local landfill and transfer site that has recycling on-site or can visit our Material Recovery Facility at 270 West Street, Trenton. Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
