COVID-19: Marmora and Lake Will Continue With Municipal Closures and Restrictions

The Municipality of Marmora and Lake will continue with its cautious approach of closing the municipal buildings and outdoor amenities until further notice.

Marmora's Emergency Management Control Group, Council, and staff are following the Province's lead carefully and listening to the advice of the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit.

The Municipality wants to preemptively manage group sizes, continuing with these closures helps with that initiative. The aim is to keep the numbers of COVID-19 cases as low as possible for as long as we can to ensure the safety of the residents.

Discussions are in progress on the measures that will be taken when it's time to reopen facilities which will likely be done gradually and with strict physical distancing measures.
