Extra effort taken to ensure the safety of our citizens.

The Municipality of Marmora and Lake realizes this is a trying time, and the measures that are being taken can seem extreme. We want you to know that we are constantly thinking about your health and well being. Every effort taken is an attempt to keep more of our residents safe.

If you are out this weekend, enjoying the weather, as we hope you do, you might see that the parks and public spaces have been caution taped off. We have received many reports of groups of people gathering in these places and this is yet another effort to encourage physical distancing and the avoidance of people getting into groups.

Health officials are advising people to avoid all unnecessary excursions. Stay home. Be safe.
