Open-Air Burning Fire Ban in Effect

March 26th, 2020

MARMORA AND LAKE, ON - Please be informed that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and new response protocols for the Fire Department, fire-permits for open air burning will not be issued. All open-air burning is banned for the entire area of the Municipality of Marmora and Lake and will remain in effect until further notice.

Small self-contained bon-fires that are used for warmth or cooking that are contained to 3 feet wide by 3 feet high, do not require a fire-permit.
