Public Notice: Penalty and Interest will be Reinstated to Overdue Accounts Commencing January 2021

The Municipality would like to remind the public that starting January 2021 penalty and interest will be charged on overdue property tax, utility, and accounts receivable. There will be no retroactive charges.

THAT Council accepts this report "Re-Instatement of Penalty and Interest Charges” as information.

FURTHERMORE, THAT Council approves the reinstatement of penalties applied to overdue property tax accounts commencing January 2021; and

THAT Council approves the re-installment of penalties on accounts receivable amounts past due, commencing January 2021.
