Notice of Intention to Pass a By-law to remove a Holding Symbol
Part of Lots 1 and 3 of Plan 129

Please TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of Marmora & Lake will hold a meeting on the 1st day of May, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at 12 Bursthall Street, Marmora. This meeting will consider the removal of a holding provision (-h) in accordance with Section 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 13.

Location of Subject Lands

The requested amendment applies to Part of Lots 1 & 3 of Plan 129, Village of Marmora, in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. Please see key map below.

Purpose (and Explanation) of the Proposed Amending By-law

The requested amendment will, if put into force and effect, serve the following purpose:

• Remove the “holding provision (-h)” from one parcel of land in Part of Lots 1 and 3 of Plan 129, as depicted in the attached key map. The removal of the “holding provision (-h)” will allow use of the subject lands in accordance with the permissions and requirements of the Main Street Centre (MC) Zone.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION related to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is available for inspection, during regular business hours, at the office of the Clerk of the Municipality.
