Welcome Jess Downer, Economic Development Assistant!

Welcome Jess Downer to the municipal Tourism Centre working as the Economic Development Assistant!

Jess is super excited to be working for the municipality this summer in the Economic Development Department (offered through the Canada Summer Jobs program). She is also a young entrepreneur that owns her own small business specializing in hand made jewelry and cards, and has excellent public relations and communications skills.

Jess will be entering her 3rd year at McMaster University in September, and is an honor student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society program, with the end goal of becoming a Psychotherapist. She loves spending time with her loved ones, is an animal lover, enjoys the outdoors, and photography.
