Parks

Legion Park

  • Located at the corner of Cameron St. and Matthew St.

  • Baseball field, tennis courts, basketball/ball hockey pad and public swimming area

  • Maintained by the Municipality

  • Free public boat launch and parking (south of Highway #7), off-leash dog park

  • Open year-round

Off-Leash Dog Park

  • Located just south of Matthew St. on Cameron St. (behind Legion Park tennis courts)

  • Fenced in area for dogs to play and socialize

  • Maintained by the Municipality

  • Open year-round

Memorial Park

  • 9 Matthew St.

  • Playground with some accessible features

  • Trails and picnic shelter by the Crowe River

  • Tourist Information Centre

  • Splash Pad: Summer Hours 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every day - June 2 to September 11 2023

  • Maintained by the Crowe Valley Lions Club and the Municipality of Marmora and Lake

  • Open year-round

Mag's Landing Park

  • North end of Main St. on the Crowe River, north of the Marmora Dam

  • Large open space area for volleyball, soccer and many other outdoor activities north of the launch

  • Naturalized areas

  • Picnic shelter with grill at the rivers edge (accessible picnic tables)

  • Picnic tables along trail

  • Free public boat launch

    • Daily parking, no overnight or will be towed at owner's expense

      • For overnight parking use Parking Lot B at Bursthall and Matthew

 Booster Park

  • 199 Booster Park Road, on Crowe Lake

  • Public swimming

  • Camping available

  • Municipal boat launch

  • Victoria Day to Thanksgiving

  • Rates are set annually by bylaw, see user charges bylaw

Marmora & Lake Fairgrounds Park

  • 28 Victoria St., behind the Arena & Community Centre

  • Horse ring, bandstand, camping hook-ups

  • Submit booking requests through the Facility Booking Form, here

Nayler’s Common Parks & Recreation Trail

  • Natural unmaintained walking trails alongside a marsh

  • Parking located on the south side at 60 Matthew St.

  • Open from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving

  • Small baseball backstop
