Restricted Fire Ban In Effect April 7th, 2021.

Due to the dry conditions, the Municipality is enacting a Restricted Fire Ban. No burn permits will be issued and only small self-contained fires are permitted:

  • no larger than 3 feet wide and 3 feet high

  • for cooking or heating

  • not closer than 10 feet from any combustibles

  • the fire must be extinguished properly.

  • no fireworks

People are responsible for their fire and any costs associated with fighting a fire that is allowed to get out of control.

Fire permits are not required for small self-contained fires. No permits will be issued for open-air burning.
