Council Meetings will Continue Virtually for Time Being
The Municipality has decided to continue with virtual Council meetings for the foreseeable future.
The Emergency Management Control Group met and discussed the possibility of returning to Council Chambers for the next public meeting. Due to the many challenges, the EMCG decided it is safest to continue with streaming meetings live on Facebook. The problems identified were the required space for Council, staff, and public, the difficulty enforcing masks, the hard of hearing challenges with mask-wearing.
We want to remind the public that if they have an issue that they wish the Council to consider, they can submit a letter or ask to be a delegation. To be a delegation, you must have a reliable internet connection and video conferencing abilities.
