Thanks to The Crowe Valley Lions Club for Maintaining the Memorial Park Gardens

The Municipality would like to thank the Crowe Valley Lions Club for maintaining and beautifying the Memorial Park gardens. Every year the Lions Club hires staff and manages volunteers to ensure the park is kept up to its high standard.

It has been commented many times that the park is the nicest spot between Toronto and Ottawa.

This year, the upkeep of the park has been slightly delayed. Now that upkeep has resumed there are social distancing procedures in place. The Lions have initiated a strict schedule plus the workers will wear a bright vest so that people walking through the park can identify them and keep their distance.

Please be kind to those you see working in the community. If you are frustrated with the Provincial orders don't take it out on staff and volunteers.

These are difficult times for everyone. Municipal staff and all essential workers, businesses that are opening up, and those offering curbside pickup or delivery, are continuing to implement the provincial safety measures to ensure our community remains as unaffected by the pandemic as possible.

Please be kind, we are all in this together.
